Situated on the North West coast of Meganisi overlooking Lefkada
Just below the house, and only a 2 minute walk away, is Ammoglossa Beach. The beach has a simple bar and café during the day and there is a dock where you can moor a boat if you want to hire one for the holiday.
The nearest restaurant is ‘Il paradiso’, only 10-15 minutes walk away and the perfect spot for lunch!
Take a boat across the water to the miniature island of Thilia directly opposite the house.
The nearest town, Spartochori is 7 minutes by car.
The capital of Meganisi is Vathy, with it’s beautiful horseshoe shape port and delightful tavernas, cafe’s and bakeries is around 15 minutes by car.

Fly to Preveza Airport
We can help arrange private transfers (payable locally):
Taxi from airport to Perigiali (45 minute drive), then private sea taxi to Spilia port on Meganisi, where the house couple will meet you and take you up to Vigla (5 minute drive)

Alternatively, you can hire a car from the airport and drive to Nidri in Lefkada (45 minutes), and then take the car ferry from Nidri to Spilia in Meganisi (25 minutes journey time)

Car hire is recommended – we would highly recommend a small, sturdy car as the roads in this part of the island can be a little narrow
E-bike hire is possible with enough notice

Inside, the house looks as if it’s straight out of ‘World of Interiors’ magazine. Beautifully designed and thoughtfully decorated with handmade lights and olive-wood mirrors, polished concrete staircases and high-quality bed linens. There are so many extra touches that make a holiday here extra special- musical instruments, a selective collection of books and a TV that can be moved outdoors for those who can’t be without Love Island!
The space we envisage guests spending the most time however is the wonderful outdoor kitchen and seating area. The owners have thought of everything to make this a fantastic space and it’s just the spot for lunchtime feasts and dinner late into the evening. A herb garden packed with Mediterranean herbs offers keen cooks the freshest produce.
